Guess who I'm with today !!!!

I'm very thankful to be part of this wonderful wedding and this time of fellowship here in California with my cousin Chrissy and family. While here, I've been getting to know this lovely lady, Ivonnah Erskine. Some of you may recognize her as the leading lady from the Avant video Read Your Mind; her face has graced the screen of many other videos, movies, sitcoms, mini-series, and let's not forget she was the beauty with the edgy short haircut on the hit MTV show Nick Cannon's Wild N Out. I have to inform you she is more than a beautiful and I mean BEAUTIFUL face. This Actress/Makeup Artist/Hair Stylist/Blogger/Mother/Virtuous Woman whose skills go beyond this entry is kind, pleasant, gifted, and most of all a bold, God-fearing woman. The more we talked and spent time together, the more I learned that Ivonnah is a woman with dreams, serious ambition, a mind filled with wisdom, and a heart full of love and joy. BUT ..... PLEASE don't get it twisted; she is NOT a woman of nonsense and/or drama.
  
During our much-needed ladies' afternoon (turned evening, lol), she and I, along with the other ladies, were talking about EVERYTHING, and in the midst of the conversation, I discovered she has her own blog. I checked it out and was very inspired, impressed, and motivated by her entries, so of course I have to plug and promote it!! I believe many will benefit from her skills, experience, tips, humor, and knowledge, so please check out her blog at invonnahswords.wordpress.com. Hopefully in the future we may see a few entries right here on artistemonique. I'm excited !!!
