Autism awareness, acceptance, and understanding have changed my personal and professional life at Artiste M Studios as a mom to a neurodivergent family. Despite several life changes since starting this blog in 2013, my devotion to autism has never faltered. Now, I'm using this place to educate, inspire, and connect families, caregivers, and allies who value inclusivity and understanding. Another year to celebrate Autism Awareness, what better way to show my love and understanding by creating a sing honoring our precious gems. I hope you listen, share and enjoy every word. I hope the songs moves you and inspires you to learn more !
AUTISM AWARENESS TRIBUTE Being a parent of a child with autism is definitely an experience . A lot of people have so many questions they may want to ask so I decided to open the lines of communication with a Question and Answer series. Myself along with other parents of autistic children will answer questions they receive and I will post them to the site. Feel free to email me, facebook me with any question.

Its that time of the year again where we show our support for Autism Awareness and Research. On April 2nd people across the globe will LIGHT IT UP BLUE for Autism. So please submit pics, post via instagram, twitter, facebook and etc showing how you light it up blue for Autism !! Thank you for your support !!! Artiste Monique DONATE TODAY !!  Today is April 2nd LIGHT IT UP BLUE for Autism Awareness Day !!! I decided to find creative ways to be and get more people involved with raising awareness. So I began to tell people via facebook, twitter, word of mouth and etc to light it up blue by wearing blue, creating a sign, something, ANYTHING that supports today and Autism Awareness month. Did you know that the numbers went from every 1 in 110 child is affected by Autism to every 1 in 88, that's right every 1 in 88 !! We MUST raise awareness, teach and inform our communities so those on the Autism Spectrum and their families will feel more accepted because their community cares to educate themselves and others about autism.
